We are now over halfway through making our home made ice cream for the Fair. We mix it up in individual batches and then freeze each one individually in our batch freezer. We supply ice cream all over the fairgrounds so you can have it with your cherry crisp, apple pie or donut. You can also have it on your funnel cake, or you can ask for the special mint ice cream in the herb garden! Try a wonderful unique flavor this year like harvest spice, and be sure to try our special shakes. Or get it freshly made straight from our antique ice cream machines. We even have caramel, fudge, or strawberry sundaes and root beer floats. So, no need to scream, just ask for ice cream on top!
How Much Ice Cream Are You Making?
Four hundred gallons of hard packed ice cream and eighty gallons of fresh-cranked soft-serve. We make thirty-nine pounds of buttered and roasted pecans and seventeen pounds of cookies. We crack and separate over 120 eggs. We can make about forty gallons a day so we have a good jump on our stock for the 2014 Fair.
