Made by hand

Find something worth keeping.

Meet the makers behind handmade gifts, useful household goods and traditional crafts.

Crafts with a story

Shopping has long been part of the Fair: pottery for the table, quilts for the home, turned wood, woven baskets and ironwork made by skilled hands. Take time to talk with the craftspeople about their work.

  • Pottery, woodworking and hand-forged metalwork
  • Sewing, quilting, yarn and woven goods
  • Baskets, brooms, leatherwork and craft kits
  • Soap, candles and specialty foods

Around the grounds

The Fair’s past shopping areas have included craft pavilion booths, a home-school bookstore, a general store, the Gristmill and the blacksmith shop. Exact booths, locations and stock can change from year to year; ask at the Fair before looking for a particular item.
