The Fair is larger than ever, we have many new things to see, hear, do, taste and try and you really will need all 3 days to take in the whole Fair; especially if you plan to try any of the Make-Your-Own activities or attend any of this year’s workshops & seminars.
In addition, the weather forecast is looking superb and we’re expecting an overflow crowd!
For the most enjoyable Fair experience, we suggest you take a little time to plan ahead. Our top recommendations are:
- Buy your parking pass online, early, before you come. This will help everyone get through the gate quickly, including the folks behind you — no one wants to sit in line waiting to get in!
- View the Fairground Map and familiarize yourself with the locations you are most interested in visiting
- Peruse the list of Demonstrations and Seminars and identify the ones you want to attend
- Look over the food menu and consider what & when you want to eat (you might want to avoid the lunch rush immediately preceding afternoon music).
Suggested Thanksgiving evening family activity: Now that you know some of the 1,001 things you want to do at the Fair, view the location map again, print the map and draw your path through the Fairgrounds with a highlighter!
See you at the Fair!
