Last week we mulched our tomato plants, planted 4 kinds of radishes, 2 kinds of carrots, and transplanted green onions into the grow beds in our aquaponics greenhouse. Our goal is to produce 7 pounds of green onions a month for Cafe Homestead. ( www.cafehomestead.com )
Our first tomato plants are blooming and the lettuce and some carrots from an earlier planting are up!
The greenhouse is currently a beehive of activity as we plant and finish the building in time for the Fair. Please stop by and see our progress!
